The Coffee and Connect Café opens its doors each month to serve up insights and ideas to supercharge your book writing journey.
You are invited to join us for these informal events. Each month, there will be a topic to inspire you. You'll be encouraged and motivated on your book writing journey by your fellow authors and book mentor.
You can ask questions about the book writing process or get help in any area where you feel stuck or want advice. We can delve into areas like mindset and motivation, writing techniques, publishing strategies, and book marketing tips.
It's on Zoom. It's informal and free. We simply want to inspire you to take action with your book writing project! Please note there will be no replay and places are limited, so book yourself on to your preferred sessions.
Upcoming Café Sessions
Tuesday 2 June, 12-1pm - “The Gap Between Intention and Action”
You want to write your book. You think about it. You talk about it. You may even plan it. But wanting to write and actually writing are not the same thing. In this session, we’ll explore what really sits in the gap between intention and action – and how to close it in a way that works for your real life.
Tuesday 7 July, 12-1pm - “Building Your Authority Through Your Book”
Writing a book isn’t what builds authority – it’s how the book is positioned, shaped, and used. Let’s look at what gives a book real weight, how to make it stand for something, and how it can open up exciting opportunities beyond the book itself.
Tuesday 4 August, 12-1pm - “Where Book Marketing Really Begins”
Many authors think marketing starts after the book is written (or worse still, when it’s published) – but by then, it’s often too late. Others try to start earlier but get overwhelmed by how much there is to do and no clear sense of what actually matters or when to do it. In this session, we’ll dive into where marketing really begins, what to focus on first, and how to build traction without turning promotion into a full-time job.
