FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
All the sessions are held via Zoom. Full information, including dates and the Zoom link, will be provided when you sign up. The Coffee and Connect Café is on Tuesday lunchtimes from 12-1pm UK time, the Group Coaching Sessions are usually on the first Wednesday of the month (6-7.30pm UK time), and the Group Implementation Sessions are on the third Wednesday of the month (6-8pm UK time) - both are recorded if you can't make them live.
I advise you to start by going through the Smart Author online programme, as this will give you the foundational piece to get the most from our group sessions. Most authors go through the following process:
Month 1: You will focus on the planning stage, so that you know what you're writing, who it's for, and the flow of your book. You'll create a strong structure and solid framework for the book as a whole and for individual chapters.
Months 2-7: You will be ready to start writing and crafting your content. You will be pulling your ideas together into a manuscript and working on business building activities alongside the writing.
Month 8: At the editing stage, you’ll be given help to get social proof for your book, find the right peer review team and go from the first draft to a final manuscript that you are proud of.
Months 9: You’ll be taken through the process to follow to publish your book, so that you can choose the right publishing option and source a team or publisher to help you (please note that publishing is not included in this package).
Throughout, we will be working on marketing activities leading up to your launch so that you can build your community, create anticipation and pre-sell your book before it is published, enabling you to maximise the effectiveness of your book.
Our goal is to ensure you get to the final manuscript by the end of the nine months (if not before) and write a book that you are proud of - as long as you do the work, turn up for the sessions, and follow the process.
We will ensure you don't make expensive mistakes, waste time on the wrong things, or write the wrong book!
